"Untitled" Aluminum and Plywood Richard Serra’s ability to shape 2D forms into a 3D environment inspired me to play with multiple dimensions. My original object was a baby sunscreen bottle that transformed from a 3D cone to a 2D lip. I mimicked this relationship in my sculpture using metal and wood to create a conical ellipse.
